Egregious ADUs...

If you've been watching the City of San Mateo and the SMPNA web sites & newsletters during the past few years, you'll recall warnings that Accessory Dwelling Units, while adding necessary housing, can be poorly built and sited due to new State law that removes local control in favor of one-size-fits-all State crafted regulations.

The above examples are real and are recent - though not (yet) in the Park. They've been compiled by California citizens concerned about the State ADU legislation superseding local control.
