Overview: "The Master Plan"
In keeping with the history and unique design set out by John McLaren, your Neighborhood Association works with the City to maintain the nearly 2700 trees planted here beginning around 1901. In fact, in 1993 a Master Plan was developed in partnership with the City after we recognized that our landscape of aging trees was dying off. By taking the long view and planting trees according to plan, we are restoring the integrated tree-scapes that were our founding gift.
