While trees & islands will always be a focus for SMPNA, our goal in 2025/6 will be to increase spending on events, to help bring our community together.
Future goals
We are working hard to update our infrastructure and communications:

Simplify and improve the website and payment interface to make giving easier (add Zelle / Venmo to PayPal)

Increase funding for community events

Enable credit card and recurring donations: recurring donations will enable the Park to have a predictable revenue stream in order to allocate funds to important projects annually (done!)

Give further clarity to donation levels and their benefits both to the Park and to the donor

Enable corporation donor matching via Benevity (done!)
